mom and stepdad

This is a photograph of my mom and stepdad...
The year was about about 1983, possibly 1984. This photo was my uncles 1973 FLH he bought in 1982. The first real Harley and bike I was introduced to. It was a full dresser, big white springy sest, big windshield, AMF logos all over, big huge saddlebags, crash bars, the works. It was a beast. I was only 11 or 12 at the time and loved being on the back for rides around Woodlawn lake. It was loud, mean, fast. He sold the bike many many years ago. But in a strange weird way he still has all those parts in the garage.
Its funny how when you are child, grow up with things, it all comes full circle at some point in life. This memory will last my entire lifetime...
